We may collect the following data when you use PersonaView:

• Account data: email address, authentication information, account status, settings, and records of your acceptance of our Terms and acknowledgement of this Privacy Policy.
• Screenshot and review data: uploaded screenshots, file metadata, screen name, selected device type, persona settings, and AI-generated review results.
• Payment and credit data: payment status, credit purchase history, credit usage history, transaction records, and billing-related information.
• Technical and security data: IP address, browser and device information, login/session data, request logs, error logs, and security logs.
• Deletion audit logs: limited records showing that an account or data deletion action occurred.

2. How We Use Data

We use personal data to:

• Create, authenticate, and manage accounts.
• Provide screenshot upload and AI-assisted UX/UI review features.
• Generate persona-based review results.
• Store screenshots and review history until you delete them or delete your account.
• Process credits, payments, receipts, and transaction records.
• Provide support.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, debug errors, and improve reliability.
• Comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
• Enforce our Terms of Service.

3. AI Processing

PersonaView uses OpenAI to provide AI-assisted screenshot analysis and persona-based UX/UI review.

When you request a review, PersonaView may send your screenshot, persona settings, screen metadata, and related instructions to OpenAI for processing. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to upload and process any screenshot or content you submit.

PersonaView does not use your screenshots or review results to train its own AI models.

4. Cookies

PersonaView uses cookies or similar technologies only as necessary for core service functionality, such as login sessions and authentication.

We currently do not use advertising cookies or marketing tracking cookies. If we introduce non-essential cookies, analytics tracking, advertising pixels, or similar technologies in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and request consent where required by law.

5. Legal Bases

Where applicable, we process personal data based on:

• Contract: to provide PersonaView and requested features.
• Legitimate interests: to secure, maintain, debug, and improve the service, prevent abuse, and keep audit records.
• Legal obligations: to comply with accounting, tax, regulatory, and legal requirements.
• Consent: where consent is required, such as for future optional marketing or non-essential tracking.

6. Service Providers and Disclosure

We may share personal data with service providers that help us operate PersonaView, including Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, and OpenAI.

These providers may process data only as necessary to provide their services, comply with law, secure their systems, prevent fraud or abuse, or fulfill their own legal obligations.

We may also disclose personal data if required by law, regulation, court order, government authority, or where necessary to protect the rights, safety, property, or security of PersonaView, our users, or others.

7. Retention and Deletion

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.

• Screenshots are kept until you delete the screenshot or delete your account.
• Review results are kept until you delete the related data or delete your account.
• Account data is kept while your account remains active.
• Payment and transaction records may be kept as required for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.
• Deletion audit logs may be retained after deletion for audit, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, accounting, or legal compliance.
• Deleted data may remain in protected backups for a limited period until backups are overwritten, rotated, or deleted.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

No internet-based service is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for avoiding uploads that contain sensitive or unauthorized information.

9. International Transfers

PersonaView uses service providers that may process and store data in countries other than your country of residence. Where required, we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

10. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or request a copy of your personal data. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

You may delete your account and data through PersonaView where this function is available. For privacy requests, contact support@personaview.app. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

11. Children

PersonaView is not intended for use by children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to PersonaView without appropriate permission, contact support@personaview.app.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as by posting the updated policy on our website or inside the application.
